我们的礼拜结束时，会有一个祝福和差遣的仪式。我们不是简单地说句：“祝你下周愉快。”我们是从周日的敬拜进入到每日生活的敬拜中。为此，我们需要神的祝福和装备。 

用这种方式来结束希伯来书何等有力！希伯来书的作者藉着给出神的祝福，也将我们差遣出去，同时提醒我们谁将与我们同行。 

在这两句简短的经文中，作者几乎总结了整卷书。“平安的神”——不是愤怒之神。“凭永约之血”——不是失效、有待更新的约，这约是永恒的。“使……我主耶稣从死里复活” 死不能辖制神的儿子。祂的祭是一次献上，永远成全的。这就是那差遣我们、装备我们的神。 

我们不能凭着自己行善，我们需要神的帮助和祂的装备，好叫我们所做的讨祂喜悦。我们需要神“在各样的善事上成全”我们，叫我们“遵行祂的旨意”。 

靠着神的恩典，我们凡事都为荣耀神而行，直到永永远远。

When we conclude our worship services, we offer a benediction (word of blessing) and a sending greeting. We do not simply say, “Have a nice week.” We go from our service of worship to our everyday life of worship. In order to do that, we need God’s blessing and equipping. 

What a powerful way to wrap up the book of Hebrews! In giving God’s blessing, the writer of Hebrews is also sending us out with a reminder of who is going with us. 

In these two short verses, the writer summarizes almost the entire book. “The God of peace . . .”—not a God of wrath and anger. “Through the blood of the eternal covenant . . .”—not a covenant that is passing and in need of a new one; it is eternal. “Brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus . . .”—death could not hold any power over the Son of God. His sacrifice was once for all. This is the God who is sending us and equipping us. 

We do not do the good that we do on our own. We need God’s help and his equipping so that what we do is pleasing to him. We need God to equip us with “everything good for doing his will.” 

By God’s grace, we do everything for God’s glory forever and ever.
